Why Choose Midnight Sun Charters?

Smaller Trips,
Bigger Memories

This is a close-knit experience. Just six guests, one fast boat, and a crew that treats you like family from the first cast. It’s personal, unrushed, and unforgettable.

Off-Track Waters,
On-Target Fish

Years on these waters means Captain Brian knows the quiet corners others overlook. The fish run strong and the experience feels a world away from the well-worn routes.

Decades on These Waters

Since the '90s, we've fished these waters year after year – not just for work, but for love of the game. This isn’t a job for us. It’s a lifestyle we live and share.

Our Boat

Meet the Belle Ile

This 31-foot Bertram Sportfisher, gives you a comfortable ride and a fishing platform. Outfitted with twin 315 hp diesel engines, custom tackle, and all Coast Guard safety gear, she’s fast, seaworthy, and built for big days on the bay. Inside, she’s clean, warm, and ready for whatever the weather brings. Outside, she’s made for one thing: helping you hook into the kind of halibut you’ll never forget.

Stories From the Water

About

Family Owned, Alaska Proud

Midnight Sun Charters is run by the Nollar family. Brian’s been fishing these waters since 1991, and Jane’s been part of the adventure from day one. Now their kids are joining the story. It’s a legacy of heart, grit, and halibut – and it shows. This isn’t a tourist operation run from afar. It’s a homegrown, hands-on, honest day of fishing with people who still love what they do and where they live.
